Parading in hanfu

The Tang Palace Festival, which is launched in cooperation with the national-level IP "Palace Banquet in Tang Dynasty," is taking place in Wuhan Happy Valley between March 17 and May 3. The festival is composed of a series of thematic events including song and dance performances, tours at fairs, and parades. It is intended to give visitors a taste of the charms of the ancient Tang dynasty.

The "Tang Court Dance Ensemble" will put on exquisite classical dances for the first time in Wuhan during March 24-26. There will be dozens of ancient-style checkpoints and 350,000 square meters of immersive Tang dynasty-style streetscapes. Visitors can dress up in hanfu and experience in depth a variety of Tang cultural activities.

Moreover, several themed shows will be staged that combine facets of traditional culture and modern visual artwork. The "Drum and Music Party" will present the prosperity of the marketplace and the magnificent scenes of people from home and abroad paying their respects to the imperial court. The "Dream Back to the Tang Dynasty" will create a poetic mood with guqin music and a dreamy mist.

A single ticket for an evening show is RMB 79 and can be used on any evening during March 17-19 or 24-26. Entry starts at 5 p.m.
